Project Overview – Outdoor living expansion with patio, sunroom, and custom millwork elements.
The client wanted to create an outdoor space for family gatherings and entertaining—a place to make lasting memories. As the homeowner said, “we only have a number of summers to enjoy with the family, so we might as well make a space for entertaining.” The remodel centered on a large covered patio with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, extending the home’s living space outdoors with a focus on comfort, function, and bringing people together.
Aligning the homeowner’s vision with the designer’s direction caused early delays. As the contractor, we stepped in to clarify goals, guide decisions, and bring everyone together around a shared vision. From a construction standpoint, managing drainage was critical. We carefully planned and installed gutter drainage pipes and a linear drain system to safely direct water away from the patio and outdoor kitchen.
Overlooking a beautiful pond, the finished covered patio feels like a private retreat. Paired with the outdoor kitchen, the space became the heart of the home’s outdoor lifestyle—a place for gathering, entertaining, and enjoying the natural surroundings.
