Project Overview – Bathroom remodels featuring luxury finishes and custom tile work.
The homeowners wanted to update and personalize the upstairs spaces for their daughter. Their goals included remodeling her bathroom, converting the adjacent bonus room into a spacious walk-in closet with extra storage, and refreshing the nearby hall bathroom. The client brought inspiration and design ideas, which guided the overall look. Our team translated those concepts into a functional, cohesive plan that matched her style and the home’s architecture.
The main design challenge involved the plumbing layout. Changes to fixture locations risked interfering with a large coffered ceiling below. We reworked the floor plan so the new fixtures fit within existing plumbing routes without affecting the ceiling, keeping the design functional and aligned with the client’s vision. Construction also presented logistical hurdles. Being on the second story, moving materials and debris required care. Walls and floors along the path of travel were protected, and a dedicated workspace was set up to minimize disruption. When moving a window required re-stuccoing part of the exterior wall, a large tree blocked standard scaffolding. Using a man lift allowed the work to be completed safely without compromising the exterior finish.
The new walk-in closet is a standout feature. By finishing the bonus room and integrating it with the bathroom suite, we created an organized, functional space with plenty of storage. Combined with the updated bathrooms, the suite now offers a practical, well-planned layout tailored to the homeowner’s needs.
