Project Overview – Complete transformation of a master bathroom into a modern spa‑style retreat.

Client’s Vision

Our client wanted to update a cold, outdated bathroom into a comfortable and functional retreat. The original layout, standard fixtures, and basic shower didn’t reflect her style or provide the usability she wanted. Key priorities included adding a luxurious tub and creating a warmer, more inviting space. Heated floors and a modernized layout help the bathroom feel practical and relaxing year-round.

Scope of Work:

  • Full gut of existing materials and finishes.
  • Custom cabinetry modifications and heated tile floor installation.
  • New plumbing fixtures throughout.
  • Japanese‑inspired wet room with freestanding tub, barn‑door glass, and detailed custom tile work.

Our Challenges & Solutions

Because the client wanted to retain elements like the existing wall tile and cabinetry, demolition had to be precise. Using specialized tools and protective methods, we removed only what was necessary to install the new heated floors, tub, and shower. The result is a seamless integration of old and new, executed with attention to detail and respect for the original space. Tight working spaces and complex scheduling added another layer of challenge. With multiple trades and limited room to maneuver, protecting existing finishes and coordinating workflows was critical. Staggering trade work, maintaining clear timelines, and emphasizing cleanliness allowed the project to progress smoothly while ensuring high-quality results.

What Makes This Project Unique

The remodel reimagined the shower without a full teardown. Strategic framing adjustments created a Japanese-inspired wet room that integrates the tub and shower into a unified, functional space. The result is a modern, practical bathroom that balances comfort, design, and usability while respecting the existing structure.
